2016 End of Year Survey!!!


I can't believe it's the end of the year!!! I'm so excited for 2016 to be over and done with and for 2017 to be a lot better for a lot of people. I think we can all agree that 2016 will not be missed. Here's everything that happened this year! Also, there will be an influx of The Raven Cycle in this post. Sorry, not sorry.

  1. I read 85 books this year too! I need to read the rest of The Raven Cycle, I read The Raven Boys this year but just haven't gotten around to the rest of the series.

    It sucks you felt let down by ACOMAF; hopefully ACOWAR might be able to make up for that? (although your review makes me have doubts about your willingness to continue with the series, aha!)

    I've heard some worrying things about Carve the Mark unfortunately in terms of harmful representation. :/

    Still, to a better 2017! (With some awesome books)

  4. I love this survey! Congrats on 85 books - that's really impressive, especially with school, life and everything in general! Ari and Dante definitely blew me away - I didn't expect it to live up to the hype! And Everything Everything has such a gorgeous cover - so does The Sun Is Also A Star - have you seen it? Nicola Yoon just has the best covers on her books :D

  8. Aaah, Etsy. The beautiful world of Etsy that makes me cry and squish because I'm absolutely broke, hahah.
    I'm so glad you enjoyed Ari and Dante. It is one of my favorite books ever and I definitely agree about how beautifully written it is.
    The most memorable character this year for me was Alex from Magnus Chase & The Hammer of Thor, but to be honest, Adam could definitely be in this list as well!

  9. Great recap! I also loved Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe and A Monster Calls! I can't wait to see the Monster Calls movie. OMG YES READ CROOKED KINGDOM ASAP YOU WILL ADHGUISFBOSJFBJKL!11!! :,) I also can't wait for The Hate U Give and that Ronan Trilogy. Ekk - exciting stuff!
