There are a lot of books still left over from Christmas that I haven't gotten around to, or put on hold reading. Here's to Spring!
1. Isla and The Happily Ever After by: Stephanie Perkins
I started, then immediately stopped reading this because I just wasn't that motivated. Now I'm hoping to get back into it!
2. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by: Michelle Hodkin
I ordered this book during Christmas Break. but still haven't got the chance to read it!
3. Burn for Burn by: Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian
I just bought this book last week and now I'm excited to start it!
4. The Scorch Trials by: James Dashner
I actually am almost finished this book, but I haven't picked it up since Fall. Let's hope I'll finish it in the Spring.
5. Uglies by: Scott Westerfeld
I bought this as an ebook years ago, but haven't found the motivation to read. I need to start soon!
6. The Selection Stories
You may know that I finished The Selection series not too long ago, and now I really want to read the mini series of books. The Guard and The Prince both look particularly good!
7. The Way We Bared Our Souls by: Willa Strayhorn
This.book.looks.so.good. Enough said.
8. Vanishing Girls by: Lauren Oliver
I love Lauren Oliver's writing, and this one looks so good!
9. Legend by: Marie Lu
Everyone and anyone has told me start this series, I need to soon!
10. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by: Laini Taylor
It's been too long since I've read a fantasy!
That's it! What books are you hoping to read this Spring?
Emily @ Paperback Princess
Legend...oh such a good series. I really hope you read it soon. I can't wait to read Vanishing Girls too! Love your list!
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to them!
DeleteI loved The Prince! The Gourd was another story but I despise Aspen a lot so that's understandable I think. I can't wait to read The Way We Bared Our Souls, though the mixed reviews make me a bit afraid of it haha.
ReplyDeleteHope you'll be able to read all of these. :)
Thanks, Veronika! I hope so too :)
DeleteThe Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and Daughter of Smoke and Bone have been on my TBR way too long. Isla and the Happily Ever After was so good! I know a lot of people have said that Anna and the French Kiss is their favorite, but I always switch between Isla and Lola as my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI loved Anna more than Lola, but I think Isla will be my favourite :)
DeleteMara Dyer and Daughter of Smoke and Bone were two of my favorite books that I had read in 2014. They are absolutely amazing and they just fly by. I read both of those books in 1 day. If you are a paranormal fan, you will love these!
ReplyDeleteOoh yes! I love paranormals!
DeleteI love all these! They all look so cool, and the ones I haven't read, I MUST read! :) Great list, I want to read these too!
ReplyDeleteThe Way We Bared Our Souls has such a beautiful cover! I know I always say that I never judge a book by its cover, but I'll have to have a look at that one now!
ReplyDeleteAlso, let me know what you think of Daughter Of Smoke And Bone when you're finished. I've been wanting to read a few more YA books recently and it was one that looked interesting but pretty divisive so I'll be interested to see what you think of it.

I'm so looking forward to The Way We Bared Our Souls too, and I am guilty of judging books by their covers as well. Daughter of Smoke and Bone looks pretty interesting. I can't wait to try it!
DeleteI've always wanted to read Mara Dyer as well! I heard it's a really good book that gives you chills, and I'm just really curious :P You really should read Daughter of Smoke and Bone! Every part of the book will surprise you :D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jillian! I'm looking forward to reading it!
DeleteThe Mara Dyer series is so good! And Daughter of Smoke and Bone is beautifully written. I'm sure you'll love both of them!
ReplyDeleteCayt @ Vicarious Caytastrophe

Isla and the Happily Ever After is so cute, and definitely a book for spring. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I also really liked The Selection Stories, and I'm looking forward to buying the new edition of them with The Favorite.
ReplyDeleteI recently read Isla, and I was very pleased with it! I also am looking forward to buying them as well :)
