Although I like the Cinderella theme, it's not for me. I might have my son check it out though.
Rebecca @ The Portsmouth Review
Follow me on Bloglovin'Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17249423601362144632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717251772632628978.post-25889581532134862052017-11-13T08:34:12.356-05:002017-11-13T08:34:12.356-05:00I don’t read that many Cinderella retellings so I ...I don’t read that many Cinderella retellings so I thought this would be really out of the box, but looks like i’m sick of them too now haha!paperbackprincesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07446601964387517150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717251772632628978.post-48611960658035318282017-11-13T08:14:14.652-05:002017-11-13T08:14:14.652-05:00To be honest, I am so sick of Cinderella stories. ...To be honest, I am so sick of Cinderella stories. Lol ;) And this book just seems like another pathetic one to toss on that pile.
So sorry you found it disappointing - I haven't read it, but I also don't like childish dialogue and boring characters.
Good review, though :)

Amy @ A Magical World Of Words Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02412158036738231881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717251772632628978.post-73287784843006107052017-11-12T20:47:17.988-05:002017-11-12T20:47:17.988-05:00Yeah, I guess I should have expected it, idk I jus...Yeah, I guess I should have expected it, idk I just figured if everyone was raving about it, it must be something really cool and different. I also hated how one sister turned “good” at the end. It didn’t make any sense to me. I will check Cinder & Ella out, thanks Veronika!paperbackprincesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07446601964387517150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717251772632628978.post-35497809197715025802017-11-12T14:59:24.588-05:002017-11-12T14:59:24.588-05:00Haha, I really loved this one. That said, I expected all that from a Cinderella retelling. One HUGE complaint I had was how one of the sisters was redeemed, whilst the other stayed horrible "just because", at least if I remember correctly. AND I love Cinder & Ella, it is, in my opinion, a much stronger book than this, and couldn't help seeing that this one had quite a few... similar elements as that one. Anyhow, sad you didn't like it. :( Still lovely review!

Veronika @ The Regal CritiquesVeronika @ Wordy and Whimsicalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06813427718618609226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717251772632628978.post-34535701432098455122017-11-11T13:55:10.716-05:002017-11-11T13:55:10.716-05:00Omg I remember you writing that story!
